History & mission
Encounters across borders
The supporting association, “Informations- und Bildungszentrum Schloss Gimborn e.V.”, was founded on 25 October 1969 – largely on the initiative of the IPA North Rhine-Westphalia regional group and the IPA Netherlands section. Today, the association has more than 500 members from over 30 countries.
The IBZ is an international training and meeting centre for police officers of all ranks and functions. The association is recognised as a non-profit organisation and has been certified as a further education provider to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 since 2010. More on quality & mission statement →
