In this privacy policy, we explain what personal data we process when you visit this website and when you book our seminars, the purposes for which this is done, and what rights you have.

The data controller is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data. Further details can be found in the legal notice.
2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany, on servers in Germany. A data processing agreement in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with the provider.
When you visit the website, the server automatically collects information that your browser transmits:
- IP address of the accessing computer
- date and time of the request
- page or file accessed and amount of data transferred
- referrer URL (the page visited previously)
- browser type, browser version and operating system
We need this data to provide the website securely and without errors. It is not combined with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and stable operation of the website. The log files are deleted automatically after a short period.
3. Cookies, fonts and analytics
This website does not set any cookies for advertising or analytics purposes and does not use any analytics or tracking tools. Technically necessary cookies are only set when you log in (e.g. for the protected members’ area) or select a language. The legal basis is Section 25(2) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
When you open a seminar detail page, your browser also stores a technically necessary cookie (“ibz_last_sem”) containing the address of that page. It allows you to return from the booking portal to the seminar page you last viewed via “Back to seminar”. The cookie contains no personal data and is deleted automatically after 24 hours.
The fonts used are stored locally on our server. No connection to third-party servers (such as Google) is established when a page is loaded.
4. Contacting us
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process your details (e.g. name, contact details, content of your enquiry) in order to deal with your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or seminar participation, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR otherwise. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Seminar programme and online booking
The seminar data on this website (dates, descriptions, prices, seminar images) comes from our seminar management system “Der SeminarManager” (LANcloud), produced by Computer-L.A.N. GmbH, Königstraße 42, 36037 Fulda, Germany. Seminar images are loaded directly from this provider’s servers; for technical reasons, your IP address is transmitted to the provider.
Clicking “Book now” takes you to the SeminarManager booking portal (app.seminarmanagercloud.de). The data you enter there is transmitted in encrypted form (HTTPS) and stored in Microsoft Azure data centres in Western Europe for as long as it is needed to process your registration. We process your booking data to run the seminar and for invoicing (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and to comply with statutory retention obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
We are the controller of the data within the meaning of the GDPR. Computer-L.A.N. GmbH is our data processor.
6. Newsletter (CleverReach)
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we need your email address and confirmation that you are the owner of that address (double opt-in). Any further details are voluntary. Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or by emailing us.
We use CleverReach, a service of CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, Schafjückenweg 2, 26180 Rastede, Germany, to send the newsletter. The data is stored on servers in Germany or the EU. CleverReach analyses whether a newsletter was opened and which links were clicked; this analysis helps us improve our content. If you do not want this, you can unsubscribe at any time. A data processing agreement has been concluded with CleverReach. For details, see cleverreach.com.
We store your data until you unsubscribe. It is then deleted; a block list containing your email address may be kept to prevent unwanted mailings in future (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
7. Links to social networks and maps
On our website we use simple links to our profiles on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube and to the OpenStreetMap map service. These are not embedded plugins: data is only transmitted to the respective provider once you click the link. The respective provider is responsible for processing on those sites.
8. Members’ area
The members’ area is password-protected. After you enter the password, your browser stores a technically necessary cookie so that you can access the protected pages for a maximum of ten days. No further personal data is collected.
9. Your rights
Within the framework of the statutory provisions, you have the following rights at any time:
- access to the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR),
- withdrawal of consent given, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
To exercise these rights, simply contact info@ibz-gimborn.de. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW), Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.
10. SSL/TLS encryption
This website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” and the padlock symbol in your browser’s address bar. When encryption is active, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
11. Objection to advertising emails
We hereby object to the use of the contact details published in the legal notice for sending advertising that has not been expressly requested. We reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising, such as spam emails.
